In the center of the Ukrainian capital city of Kiev continuing mass protests of citizens against President Viktor Yanukovych. Protesters demand the continuation of the process of Ukraine’s integration with the European Union and punish the perpetrators of the bloody dispersal of peaceful protest November 30, 2013.
Last night authorities was made one more action to disperse the protesters. For this purpose, many units of special forces police and internal troops. The protesters managed to survive and this morning their numbers in the city center only increased. Authorities clearly should move from a policy of threats and intimidation to seek compromises with the participants of this action of civil protest.
